The Adoption Challenge --- Just Started!

Rules as followed:


Absolutely no cheating or mods that affect gameplay.

To start: Create a single adult founder in CAS. Move them into a lot with a house they can afford. You will need to expand it over time. Have them reach the top of their career track and adopt 1 child before they die. The child can be any age, but must be the SAME gender as parent. 

Generation 1: (Child of the founder)
* Must get married by the time they reach Adulthood
* Must reach level 6 of their chosen profession
* Must adopt 2 children before they die, both babies of opposite genders
* Choose whichever you want as your heir for gen 2; you may move anyone else out of the house if you so desire

Generation 2: 
* Must get married by the time they reach Adulthood
* Must adopt 3 children as toddlers at the same time, all male
* Must teach them all to walk and talk
* Must cheat on their partner at least 3 times in front of their children, giving all of them the Witnessed Betrayal modlit
* Choose the child that has the lowest relationship with their mother/father when they reach young adulthood as heir for gen 3
* Move everyone else out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 3:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* Must adopt 4 children of any gender and age before reaching elder
* Must not teach them to walk/talk or help with homework
* Must become enemies with all of them before they are young adults
* Choose the child that has the darkest natural hair color as the heir for gen 4; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 4:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* Must perpetually overeat until they are very fat
* May never exercise
* Must have a job relating to food
* Must adopt 5 children as babies of any gender before reaching elder
* Must overfeed children as much as possible
* Choose the thinnest young adult as the heir for gen 4; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 5:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* Must NOT get a job
* Must get money in an unconventional way (hacking, writing, painting, etc)
* May never pay the bills, let the repo man come instead
* Must adopt 6 older children of any gender before reaching elder
* Choose whichever child you want as the heir for gen 6; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 6:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* Must NOT own any cribs
* Must NOT own a fridge, order pizza every day or go to a restaurant instead
* Must only own 1 bathroom with a single toilet and shower
* Must adopt 7 female children of any age before reaching elder
* Choose the child with the most negative traits (insane, evil, etc) as the heir for gen 7; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 7:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* Must fulfill your lifetime wish before reaching elder
* Must adopt 8 female children before reaching elder- 3 must be babies
* You may move out any non-heir teenagers with the first child to reach young adulthood, if you must
* Choose whichever child you would like as the heir for gen 8; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 8:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* After the first sim week (for planting), you can only eat food grown on your lot
* Must adopt 9 children before reaching elder- 5 must be toddler aged males
* You may move out any non-heir teenagers with the first child to reach young adulthood, if you must
* Choose a male child of your choice as the heir for gen 9; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 9:
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* May only get money from playing the guitar for tips
* You may not call any service sims to the lot. This includes babysitters.
* Must adopt 10 children of any age before reaching elder- 5 must be male, and the other 5 must be female
* You may move out any non-heir teenagers with the first child to reach young adulthood, if you must
* Choose whichever child you would like as the heir for gen 10; move the rest out as they age, along with any elders from previous generations

Generation 10: (whew)
* Must NOT get married or move anyone in
* You may not call any service sims to the lot. This includes babysitters.
* May only get a part time job
* Must adopt 11 children of any age and gender before reaching elder
* You may move out any non-heir teenagers with the first child to reach young adulthood, if you must

Scoring: (optional)

Start out with 30 points

-1 per child taken by social worker
-1 per social worker warning
-1 per housefire
-1 for every early age up via the birthday cake
-1 for every teenager moving out early with an older sibling
-1 for every unfulfilled generation requirement (i.e. getting a full time job when you're only allowed a part time job)
-1 for every child adopted after reaching elder
-1 for every required child you failed to adopt
-1 for every child you were not able to pick both traits for because of their rough childhood
-1 per child/teen gets an F on report card
-1 per child/teen caught by police after curfew

Generation 1:


Meet Allison Moon, she will be my founder. She currently works in a Bookstore as a Book Genre Sorter . Her current goal in life is to swim in cash (50k in household) so she writes books in her spare time.



Day 1:
My name is Allison. I am 25 years old, my life has been a bit hard. My parents both passed away when I was 16. I left school and started my life working in a bookstore on a small island. Soon I met a man by the name of Dean, we were set to be married before my 22nd birthday. But we decided we had wanted children right away. But after a few months trying we soon found out I couldn't bare children. Dean left me as soon as he found out, and moved to a place called Sunset Valley. I sometimes missed him, and other times I hated him, but I never gave up the thought of having children. So I decided once I reached the highest I could in my career I would adopt a child. But I've changed my mind, I'd love to start my family right away. So I looked into the mirror and told myself I could handle this and made the phone call.




So I got dressed and made a few phone calls that night for the nursery. I knew I wanted a little girl. So I had them send me the crib and everything I would need for my newest addition, and I think it came out beautifully! Now for my bundle of joy to come home and meet her new mommy!






Day 2 (Im going by my days not Sim days):


That morning around 5AM I got the knock on the door. My baby has come home, and it was our first time meeting. 


I'd like to introduce to the world Tara Moon (after a quick clothing change I was able to take pictures)





So while I figured I'd get some great use out the the brand new swing I got for Tara, she seemed to love it and I even got a few hours of writing in. Hopefully Tara is this easy the entire time!





After submitting a few chapters of my new Sci-Fi I decided that it was time to teach Tara to talk and walk. So I took Tara outside and sat next to the pool and started teaching her everything she need to know for life.






And she learned every skill with ease, and it she made it such a fun time to spend with her.
